Public Health Week 2008

State and local public health officials will kick off National Public Health Week on April 14th, 2008.  A statewide awareness campaign is being launched to highlight several core health issues related to preparedness and public health threats.   

As part of the statewide observance, Huron County Health Department is providing a link from the agency website to a variety of fact sheets.  The theme for this year’s Public Health Week is “Climate Change:  Our Health in Balance.”  Each day of the week has a theme of its own.  The fact sheets include information on “What You Should Know”, “Local Resources Available”, and “What You Can do.”  Click on the following links to check out this important information:
